Interactive Exhibits and Workshops

Studies show that a meaningful connection to one’s community is a prescription for happier, healthier, longer lives. That’s why the interactive exhibits you’ll find when you walk into a Flathead County Library branch are designed to spark connections. Whether you’re discussing shared inter-generational experiences around the Common Threads exhibit, sharing gardening tips with neighbors at the Seed Library, or pressing cider with the whole family, adult interactives at the Library will help you discover surprising and lasting relationships.

Community Conversations

Our community is full of partners who share our mission to create, explore and learn, and the libraries reach even more patrons when we partner to dig into the issues that really matter. For example, a partnership with Humanities Montana introduced our community to the beuaty of poetry with the Montana Poet Laureate series. Three former Montana Poet Laureates engaged and challenged patrons on the role of art and poetry in a democratic society.
