Library Trustees are appointed by the elected Flathead County commissioners. They are charged with the operation of the library and its county budget.

The Library Foundation is a group of library loving individuals working to raise funds for materials and support that is not included in the county budget. We provide the frosting on the cake… and work to make a good library… great.

The Flathead Library Foundation raises private money to allow our libraries to go above and beyond what our county budget provides for robust programming and facilities upgrades.
